SHOCK AND GRIEF IN JAMAN SOUTH AS NDC COMMUNICATION OFFICER FOUND DEAD ON FARM

The Babianiha community and the entire Jaman South Municipality in the Bono Region have been thrown into deep mourning following the sudden and tragic death of a well-known National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch Communication Officer.

The deceased, widely known as Koo Bosea, and popularly called “Achiase Busia” on political radio phone-in programmes across Jaman South and surrounding areas, was reportedly found lifeless on his farm on Sunday under circumstances that have left residents devastated.

According to sources close to the family, the outspoken political activist left home earlier in the day to visit his farm but failed to return at his usual time , a development that immediately raised concern among relatives.

His wife, who reportedly became worried about his unusual delay, is said to have alerted members of his family. A search party was quickly organised, and the group later made the heartbreaking discovery at his farm.

Sources indicate that he was found lying motionless with a locally manufactured firearm close to him. Authorities suspect the death may have resulted from a gunshot incident, although investigations are still ongoing to establish the exact cause.

The late Koo Boasea was not only known for his active political involvement but also for his strong presence on radio platforms, where he passionately contributed to political discussions on behalf of the NDC. Beyond politics, he was a hardworking farmer and shopkeeper based in Drobo, the capital of Jaman South.

Friends and colleagues have expressed disbelief over the incident, describing him as lively and sociable. Some associates revealed that he was seen with friends just a day before the incident and had not shown any obvious signs of distress.

His passing has sent shockwaves through political circles, party supporters, and residents across the municipality, with many struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss.

The body has since been conveyed to the mortuary by the police, who have commenced investigations while awaiting autopsy results to determine the full circumstances surrounding the death.
